“Brace Yourself, Lions Fans — Dan Campbell’s Got Some Harsh Words About What’s Ahead”

Dan Campbell’s Got No Chill About the Lions’ Brutal 2025 Schedule — and He Loves It

Dan Campbell has totally changed the game for the Detroit Lions. In the last two seasons, the team made the playoffs *twice* and stacked up 27 wins with just seven losses. That’s a serious glow-up.

But hitting 15 wins again this season? That’s gonna be a tall order. Detroit’s 2025 schedule is no joke — in fact, some are calling it the toughest in the league. Not only do they have to deal with their usual NFC North rivals (twice each), but they’re also squaring up against heavyweights like the Bengals, Chiefs, Cowboys, Bucs, and Commanders. Yikes.

Still, Coach Campbell isn’t sweating it. Actually, he seems pumped.

“It’s awesome, man,” he said in an interview with the Detroit Free Press. “By the end of the year, we should be all scarred up — battle-tested and playoff-ready. Nothing’s gonna be easy. Just getting through our division is gonna be brutal… but the *right kind* of brutal.”

The Lions took the NFC North crown in 2024 but couldn’t push past the divisional round in the playoffs — injuries to key players played a big part in that exit.

This year, they’ll kick things off on the road at Lambeau against the Packers, then head home in Week 2 for a face-off with the Bears.
