The Crimson Tide keep building momentum on the recruiting trail, securing their second wide receiver commitment in just two days. Brian Williams Jr., a 6-foot-4, 185-pound receiver from Orlando, Florida’s The First Academy, announced his commitment to Alabama on Tuesday.
Williams, rated a 3-star prospect and ranked among Florida’s top recruits, chose Alabama over offers from Florida, Penn State, Notre Dame, and others. Known for his rare combination of length and athleticism, Williams excels at sharp route running and can line up both outside and in the slot.
A multi-sport athlete, Williams also competes in track, posting an 11.29-second 100-meter dash and 23.08 in the 200-meter during his junior year. On the football field, he recorded 23 catches for 359 yards and five touchdowns last season.
With Williams joining Owen Cabell, Alabama now boasts 16 total commitments in the 2026 class, seven of whom are offensive players. After a quieter start, the Tide have surged in recent weeks to rank seventh nationally on the recruiting composite.
