Buckeyes Great Signs New Contract to Extend NFL Career

Former Lions CB Jeff Okudah Signs with Vikings

Jeff Okudah is on the move again. The former Detroit Lions cornerback has signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings, adding another chapter to his NFL journey.

Okudah, originally the third overall pick in the 2020 draft, was expected to be a cornerstone of the Lions’ defense. However, injuries and inconsistent play led to his trade to Atlanta after the 2022 season. He then spent time with the Texans before landing in Minnesota.

With the Vikings, Okudah joins a defense led by coordinator Brian Flores and will have the chance to face his former team twice this season, adding more intrigue to the NFC North rivalry.
