Trump Backs Coal, Interior Secretary Hits the Mines
Following President Trump’s latest push to boost coal production, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum hit the road to check out a couple of big coal sites in Alabama. He stopped by Warrior Met Coal’s Mine 4 North in Tuscaloosa an active underground site and then made his way over to the Blue Creek Mine in Berry for a quick tour.
The trip was all about showing support for Trump’s new executive order that aims to ramp up American coal output and ease up on regulations. Burgum’s visit was meant to highlight how the administration is all in on expanding domestic energy, creating jobs, and cutting living costs for everyday Americans by tapping into more homegrown resources.
