Laura Rutledge’s Cotton Bowl Looks Steal the Spotlight
With the NFL Wildcard Weekend in full swing, the College Football Playoff games might not be the center of attention anymore, but Laura Rutledge is still making waves. The SEC Network reporter turned heads after sharing her stylish looks from Friday’s Cotton Bowl showdown between Ohio State and Texas.
Rutledge was in Arlington, Texas, where Ohio State beat Texas 28-14, punching their ticket to the National Championship against Notre Dame on January 20. But while the game was a big deal, so were Rutledge’s game-day outfits, which had fans buzzing on Instagram.
For the SEC Network’s pre-game show, the 36-year-old sportscaster rocked a silver glittery long dress paired with a black coat with faux fur trim and sleek black heels. During the game, she switched it up to something more practical—a white long-sleeve shirt, a textured white mini skirt, and comfy white sneakers for sideline reporting.
Fans couldn’t get enough of her looks. “Fantastic outfits as always. Sparkle skirt is so cute!” one fan wrote. Another said, “Serving looks one game at a time.” Even fellow broadcaster Amanda Scarborough chimed in, saying, “Okay, you’re amazing, and I got warmer just LOOKING at that jacket.”
With the National Championship set for Jan. 20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, fans are already excited to see what Rutledge will bring to the big stage—not just in her coverage, but in her wardrobe too.
