Former Cowboys Starter Had a Side Hustle While Playing for Dallas
Turns out, former Dallas Cowboys player Xavier Woods wasn’t just focusing on football during his time with the team. While playing, he had a second job working at a smoothie shop to make some extra cash.
Woods recently signed with the Titans for a two-year deal worth $4 million a year, and he’s getting quite a bit of guaranteed money. But even with a solid salary, it seems like he’s into earning more outside of football, following in the footsteps of athletes like Shaquille O’Neal and Jimmy Butler, who’ve made smart investments to grow their wealth.
Woods isn’t the first player to juggle multiple gigs while playing. In fact, it’s a strategy used by many athletes to secure their financial future. While his on-the-field performance with the Cowboys is solid he put in some strong stats over his years with the team it looks like Woods is also using his off-field hustle to make sure he’s set for the long haul.
