Crimson Tide Baseball Stars Receive Preseason Honors

The University of Alabama’s baseball team has kicked off the 2025 season with two of its players earning prestigious preseason honors. Garrett Staton and Justin Lebron were both named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All-American Team.

Garrett Staton, a third baseman, has transferred to Alabama after spending four years with the Samford Bulldogs. This preseason recognition marks his first All-American distinction. Staton’s impressive skills on the field have earned him a spot on the third team.

Justin Lebron, a shortstop, is building on an impressive freshman season, where he earned First Team Freshman All-American recognition from multiple organizations. This is Lebron’s third preseason All-American nod, solidifying his position as a key player for the Crimson Tide.

The NCBWA Preseason All-American Team recognizes the top players in college baseball, and Staton and Lebron’s inclusion is a testament to their hard work and dedication to the sport.
