Crimson Tide Lands Former Texas Tech Pitcher Tyler Boudreau from Transfer Portal

The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team is continuing to build its roster through the transfer portal, landing former Texas Tech pitcher Tyler Boudreau. Boudreau announced his commitment to Alabama on Instagram.

A native of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada, Boudreau began his college career at Midland College in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference before transferring to Texas Tech for the 2025 season. As a Red Raider, he appeared in 13 games, starting 10, and posted a 1-4 record with a 6.65 ERA over 47.1 innings. He struck out 49 batters and walked 23.

Before joining Texas Tech, Boudreau had an impressive 2024 season at Midland, where he was named Western Junior College Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year after going 11-2 with seven complete games.

This addition strengthens Alabama’s pitching depth as the program continues to reload under the current coaching staff.
