Cristiano Ronaldo Claims the Crown: “Messi’s Great, But I’m More Complete”

**Ronaldo Says He’s the Most Complete Player Ever, Stats Don’t Lie**

Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t shy about his greatness. In a recent interview with Spanish TV show *El Chiringuito*, he boldly claimed he’s “the most complete player to have existed.” While he respects fans who prefer legends like Lionel Messi, Pelé, or Diego Maradona, Ronaldo believes the numbers are on his side.

At 39, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has shattered records left and right, racking up 923 goals—the most by any male footballer in history. His latest two goals helped Al Nassr cruise to a 4-0 win over Al Wasl in the AFC Champions League.

“Who’s the best goal scorer in history? Just look at the stats. End of story,” Ronaldo said confidently. “Goals with my head, left foot, right foot, penalties, free kicks—you name it. Even though I’m not left-footed, I’m still in the top 10 for left-foot goals in history. That’s not luck.”

Of course, the Ronaldo vs. Messi debate isn’t going anywhere. But Ronaldo doubled down: “I think I’m the most complete player ever. I do everything well—headers, free kicks, I’m fast, strong, both feet. Sure, people have their favorites, and I respect that. But if we’re talking about being complete, it’s me. I’ve never seen anyone better, and I mean that from the heart.”

Despite nearing 40, retirement isn’t on his mind. “I’m so competitive that I forget what I’ve already achieved. That’s what keeps me going,” he said. “Most players in my position would’ve quit 10 years ago. But I’m different, period.”

Ronaldo also brushed off criticism about the Saudi Pro League, where he’s been playing since leaving Manchester United in 2023. “People talk too much without knowing,” he shrugged. Clearly, Ronaldo’s focus is on proving himself—on and off the pitch.
