Detroit CB Defends Front Office Strategy: ‘Trust Brad Holmes to Cook’

Lions CB Terrion Arnold Urges Fans to ‘Let Brad Cook’
Detroit Lions fans entered the 2025 offseason with high expectations, especially after the team landed cornerback D.J. Reed in free agency. However, as things have quieted down, some fans are growing restless.

Lions rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold had a message for them: be patient. On March 14, Arnold posted a picture on Twitter with the caption, “Words of advice: Let Brad Cook!”—a nod to general manager Brad Holmes’ track record of building a championship-caliber roster.

Holmes has been the architect behind Detroit’s rise, drafting stars like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Penei Sewell, Aidan Hutchinson, and Jahmyr Gibbs. His decisions have turned the Lions into legitimate Super Bowl contenders, and Arnold believes fans should trust the process.

While pressure is mounting to make the final moves that push the Lions over the top, there’s still plenty of time in free agency. Holmes has earned the benefit of the doubt, and Lions fans might just need to sit back and watch his plan unfold.
