Morton, an Auburn Hills native, is no stranger to the NFL, with over 25 years of experience coaching teams like the Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints, and most recently, the Denver Broncos. After coaching rookie QB Bo Nix to an impressive debut season, Morton is now back in Detroit, having previously worked as a senior offensive assistant in 2022.
This move comes after Ben Johnson’s departure to the Chicago Bears, and fans are eager to see how Morton will lead the Lions’ high-powered offense, including stars like Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Jahmyr Gibbs.
