Detroit Lions Expected to Develop Dylan Fairchild as Glasgow’s Heir

Lions Eye Georgia Guard Dylan Fairchild as Future Starter
With Kevin Zeitler heading to Tennessee, the Detroit Lions are looking to secure their future at guard. While second-year lineman Christian Mahogany showed promise in limited action last season, Detroit may look to add another young talent to groom for a starting role.

Jacob Infante of Pro Football Network predicts the Lions will use their compensatory third-round pick on Georgia’s Dylan Fairchild. The former Bulldogs standout brings a strong mix of athleticism and football IQ, allowing just one sack over the past two seasons. Though he may not start immediately, Fairchild could develop into a long-term replacement for Graham Glasgow, whose struggles last season raised concerns about his future.
