The Detroit Lions are adding depth to their tight end group, signing free-agent Kenny Yeboah to a one-year deal, as first reported by Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

Who is Kenny Yeboah?
Yeboah entered the league in 2021 as an undrafted free agent and has spent the past four seasons with the New York Jets. Over 33 games, he’s recorded nine receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown, mainly contributing in a backup role.

Bottom Line
With standout Sam LaPorta and reliable Brock Wright already on the roster, Yeboah’s path won’t be easy. He’ll have to prove himself in camp and compete hard for the No. 3 tight end spot heading into the 2025 Season.
