Lions Pride Runs Deep in Saint Johns – One Yard at a Time!
If you’re cruising through Saint Johns and spot what looks like a mini football field on someone’s front lawn, don’t be alarmed – it’s just Jeff Lazaros doing his thing. Jeff, a Detroit native now living in Saint Johns, has taken his Lions fandom to a whole new level, and honestly? It’s pretty awesome.
It all started when Jeff noticed some neighborhood kids tossing a football around. Instead of just being the guy who waves from the porch, he decided to step up and give them something cooler to play on.
“I saw the kids out there having fun and thought, why not take it up a notch? I asked them, ‘What do you think about making a little field out in the front yard?’” Jeff explained.
Next thing you know, Jeff and his new team of mini yard engineers were out with tape measures and strings, crafting their very own front-yard field of dreams. But it didn’t stop there. Nope, this project turned into something way bigger than just a patch of grass with lines.
The result? A Lions-themed front yard that’s been blowing up on social media. Jeff says the field has racked up over 30,000 views and tons of positive comments from people who are loving his creative way of showing team spirit.
