Doctor Says Trump’s Fit, Focused, and Fit for Command!”

Donald Trump’s doctor says he’s in good shape to serve as president again. After a physical on April 11, 2025, at Walter Reed, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella gave Trump a clean bill of health. At 78 years old, Trump has dropped 20 pounds since his last presidential checkup in 2020, now weighing in at 224 pounds.

The doctor credited Trump’s active lifestyle, saying it’s really helped keep him healthy. Trump, who turns 79 in June, got a full checkup, and the report says he’s “fully fit” to handle the duties of Commander-in-Chief.

Some extra details from the report    Trump had cataract surgery on both eyes at some point, and back in July 2024, he had a colonoscopy that found a harmless polyp and a condition called diverticulosis, which is pretty common as people get older.

Trump also passed a cognitive test again  the same kind of test he took back in 2018, where he famously listed off words like “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.” He was screened for depression and anxiety too, and everything came back normal.

While Trump is the oldest person elected president, he’s still younger than Joe Biden, who left office at 82. Barbabella said Trump’s heart, lungs, brain, and overall physical health are “excellent.” Apparently, his days are packed with meetings, public appearances, media events, and, of course, regular rounds of golf   which he says he keeps winning at his Florida clubs.

Trump’s cholesterol has improved, thanks to medication, dropping from 223 in 2018 to 140 today. His blood pressure was 128/74   a bit elevated, but nothing serious. His resting heart rate is a healthy 62 beats per minute.

The physical also turned up some minor sun damage on his skin, a few harmless spots, and scarring on his right ear from that assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania last July.

The exam was pretty thorough, involving lab tests, specialists, and overseen personally by Barbabella, a decorated Navy doctor with experience in emergency and tactical medicine from tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
