Dolphins an Appealing Destination for Zach Wilson’s Next Chapter

Zach Wilson is embracing his fresh start with the Miami Dolphins, calling it “a great fit” for his career goals. After spending last season as the Broncos’ third-string quarterback behind Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham, Wilson now moves up to the No. 2 role behind Tua Tagovailoa in Miami. Given Tagovailoa’s injury history, Wilson may have a real shot at playing time in 2025.

Speaking on a team podcast, Wilson highlighted Miami’s offensive system and learning opportunities as key reasons for his optimism. While the Dolphins hope he won’t be needed, this season could be his best chance yet to prove he still belongs in the NFL after his rocky tenure with the Jets.
