So, looks like the New York Giants aren’t quite done with their quarterback hunt just yet. Even after signing both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, the team recently hosted private workouts with college QBs Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward, according to a report by Jordan Raanan.
The Giants had a rough 2024 season, finishing dead last in the NFC East with a 3–14 record. Their final game was a brutal 30–13 loss to the Eagles. Clearly, they’re looking to shake things up and bring in more options under center for the 2025 season.
A tweet from Big Blue United confirmed that both Sanders and Ward have already completed those private sessions with the team.
As for Shedeur Sanders, he’s definitely a hot name heading into the NFL Draft. The Browns have had their eye on him since last year and even checked him out during the Colorado Pro Bowl. But so far, there’s no clear indication which team he’s leaning toward. Sanders himself is keeping it classy and says he’s ready to perform wherever he ends up.
During Colorado’s Pro Day, he gave props to his college teammates and wished them well, signaling he’s ready to move on to the next level. Sanders only played one season at Colorado (2023–2024) after transferring from Jackson State, where he played two years. And yes, if the name sounds familiar—it’s because he’s the son of NFL legend Deion Sanders.
With his skills and strong presence, Sanders is expected to be a first-round pick. Whichever team grabs him could be getting a future star.
