Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni Discusses Tush Push, Dallas Goedert, and More Highlights

Nick Sirianni Talks Tush Push, Dallas Goedert, White House Visit & More

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had plenty to say recently, touching on everything from the infamous “Tush Push” to tight end Dallas Goedert’s role and even the team’s upcoming White House visit. Here’s a breakdown of the key takeaways.

       On the ‘Tush Push’
Love it or hate it, the Eagles’ signature short-yardage play  the Tush Push continues to be a hot topic. Some critics call it unfair, while others praise the team for perfecting it. Sirianni, unsurprisingly, stands by it.

“We’re going to keep running it as long as it’s legal,” he said. “It’s a weapon for us, and we’re not going to apologize for being good at it.”

The play has been nearly unstoppable with Jalen Hurts at the helm, frustrating opposing defenses and sparking debates about whether the NFL should ban it. But for now, Sirianni and the Eagles are sticking with what works.

         On Dallas Goedert’s Role
Tight end Dallas Goedert has been a key piece of the Eagles’ offense, and Sirianni made it clear that he remains a major part of their plans moving forward.

“Dallas is a playmaker. We love getting him the ball, and we know how dangerous he can be when he’s got it in his hands,” Sirianni said.

Whether it’s as a safety blanket for Hurts or a red-zone weapon, Goedert figures to remain a crucial part of the passing attack.

      On the White House Visit
With the Eagles earning another trip to Washington, D.C., Sirianni expressed his appreciation for the tradition.

“It’s an incredible honor, and we don’t take it for granted,” he said. “Not everyone gets to experience that, so we’re going to enjoy the moment.”

The Eagles have been to the White House before, but every visit brings a special significance, especially for the players experiencing it for the first time.

      Looking Ahead
With offseason preparations underway, Sirianni remains focused on keeping the Eagles competitive. The NFC is as tough as ever, but with a strong core and a coach who isn’t afraid to embrace controversy, Philly is gearing up for another run.
