Looks like Eli Ricks has a new fan—and it’s someone pretty unexpected.
A month after the Eagles defensive back made headlines for calling Ivanka Trump “beautiful” and “exactly my type” during the team’s White House visit, Ivanka swung by the Eagles’ training facility—and left him a little surprise.
While touring the locker room with her family on Friday, the former first daughter left Ricks a handwritten note saying, “Stopped by to say hi! Sorry to miss you! Go Birds!”
She even shared the message on social media, and Ricks caught wind of it fast. He reposted it and replied, “My apologies, I owe you a glass of wine now xx!”
This all started when Ricks, after meeting Ivanka during the team’s post-Super Bowl visit to D.C., tweeted: “Donald trump daughter is beautiful damn. After seeing her in person Ivanka is exactly my type.”
Ricks, who played college ball at both LSU and Alabama, signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2023. And now, he’s got a locker room shoutout from Ivanka Trump under his belt. Not bad.
