Fan Picks Say It All: Giants’ Mock Drafts Heavily Favor Quarterback

New York Giants fans are making it clear: they want a new quarterback. According to Pro Football Network’s Mock Draft Simulator, nearly half (45.4%) of mock drafts by Giants fans have them picking a QB with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. That number is up from 41.6% in February, showing the fanbase is increasingly leaning toward a fresh face under center.

The hottest name in these mock drafts? Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders. His popularity among Giants fans has skyrocketed, jumping from 17.4% to 31.1% in recent weeks. On the flip side, Miami’s Cam Ward—once the favorite—has seen his support drop significantly, from 22.3% down to just 9.3%.

While quarterback is the main focus, some fans are looking at other positions. Cornerback (18.5%) and edge rusher (11.3%) have also been popular choices, with Colorado’s Travis Hunter (17.5%) and Penn State’s Abdul Carter (10.1%) leading the way for non-QB picks.

Looking at the bigger picture, PFN’s average draft position (ADP) rankings show Cam Ward still holds the top spot with a 1.8 ADP, followed by Carter (2.9) and Hunter (3.9). Meanwhile, despite his rise among Giants fans, Sanders has an overall ADP of 4.9.

With the draft approaching, the big question remains: Will the Giants go all-in on a new quarterback, or will they take the best overall talent available? One thing’s for sure—fans are hoping for a game-changer at the top of the draft.
