A major apparel brand, Under Armour, has accidentally released a shirt celebrating a Notre Dame victory in the National Championship Game—before the game has even been played! The shirt, which is already up for pre-order, has Notre Dame listed as the champs for this season, with the slogan “Played Like a Champion Today.”
The National Championship Game between Ohio State and Notre Dame hasn’t even taken place yet, but it seems Under Armour got ahead of itself. Ohio State hasn’t released anything like this, as they’re waiting to see if they win before any celebrations happen.
If Ohio State comes out on top, this shirt might quickly become a reminder of an embarrassing mistake for Notre Dame fans. The Buckeyes are ready to prove them wrong on the field, hoping to take home the title instead.
