Final Game for Milroe? Alabama QB Talks Future Ahead of ReliaQuest Bowl

If you’re a fan of Alabama football, you probably know Jalen Milroe has been making waves as the Crimson Tide’s quarterback. The big question now? Could he be heading to the NFL in 2025? According to ESPN analyst Jordan Reid, Milroe is ranked as the No. 3 quarterback who might be part of the 2025 NFL Draft, with a solid shot at being picked early to mid-Day 2. Not too shabby, right?

But before we start dreaming about draft day, Milroe and Alabama have a little unfinished business to handle: the ReliaQuest Bowl against Michigan this Tuesday. When asked if this could be his last ride with the Tide, Milroe kept it cool and focused.

“It’s all about maximizing right now,” he said after a practice in Tampa. “You can’t think about the future if you’re not handling the present. So, for me, it’s about preparing, practicing, and soaking in this time with my guys.”

Milroe has been the starting QB for Alabama the past two seasons, and let’s just say he’s been putting up numbers. This season, he threw for 2,652 yards, with 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. But wait—there’s more! On the ground, he racked up 719 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. Yeah, the guy’s been a dual-threat dynamo.

What does he love most about playing for Alabama? It’s the people. “The support system from my coaches and the fans is unmatched,” Milroe said. “Playing in Bryant-Denny Stadium is an experience like no other. Every moment as Alabama’s quarterback has been special, and I’ve cherished it all.”

So, will we see him in the NFL soon? Only time will tell, but for now, Milroe’s locked in on finishing the season strong. Alabama fans, enjoy the ride—it’s been a heck of a journey with him under center.

Catch the Crimson Tide’s season finale this Tuesday at 11 a.m. CT from Tampa. Don’t miss it!
