🐻 Cole Kmet Just Flipped the Script on the Packers — Literally on a Helmet
The Bears-Packers rivalry just got a little spicier — thanks to Cole Kmet and a Sharpie.
While most NFL autographs are all love and signatures, Kmet decided to have a little fun at Green Bay’s expense. The Bears tight end signed a fan’s Bears helmet with a not-so-family-friendly message aimed squarely at Jordan Love’s Packers.
It didn’t take long for the internet to catch wind of it — the photo made the rounds on Reddit and X (formerly Twitter), and fans from both sides had thoughts.
Some Bears fans were loving the pettiness:
* “The rivalry has always been alive but the win definitely helped 🐻”
* “Rent free!”
Others — mostly Packers faithful — were less than impressed:
* “There’s no such thing as a rivalry when one team wins all the time. 9-1 in the last 10, not a rivalry.”
* “Dude will probably get cut after they drafted Loveland. Dummy lol 😂”
* “Loser franchise with a loser mentality.”
And, yeah, they’re not wrong about the numbers. The Packers have mostly owned this matchup in recent years, including a playoff-clinching win in January at Lambeau Field. But the Bears did snag a W in the final week of the season, which clearly gave Kmet a little extra confidence (and maybe a marker).
As for whether this was just a joke or some deeper troll? Hard to say. But Kmet’s message is just another chapter in one of the NFL’s oldest and pettiest rivalries — and honestly, we love it.
Rivalry season never really ends, does it?
