Former Alabama Players Set New NFL Scoring Record with 886 Points

During the 2024-25 NFL season, former Alabama players made history by combining to score a record-breaking 886 points, surpassing the previous mark of 705 points set by Florida State alumni in 2016. Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs led the charge with 20 total touchdowns. Other key contributors included Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry (18 touchdowns), Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (16 touchdowns), and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (14 touchdowns). Wide receivers like Jameson Williams (Lions) and DeVonta Smith (Eagles), along with Washington Commanders’ running back Brian Robinson Jr., also played pivotal roles, each scoring eight touchdowns.

As Alabama continues to send players to the NFL, the 2025 season could see even more records fall, with tight end CJ Dippre and quarterback Jalen Milroe heading to the draft this year. It’s clear that Alabama’s influence on the NFL, particularly in the offensive scoring department, is only growing stronger.
