He pointed out how the Lions, just a couple of years ago, weren’t all that exciting offensively, but now they’ve got multiple weapons. Hester compared it to his time with the Bears, where the offense wasn’t nearly as dynamic outside of players like Calvin Johnson.

With the Bears gearing up for the draft and the 2025 season, Hester is optimistic. He believes if Johnson can bring even a fraction of the Lions’ offensive success to Chicago, the city will be buzzing. Hester is confident that the offense will improve under Johnson, especially with players like quarterback Caleb Williams and a solid group of weapons.
