Former Lions No. 3 Pick Meets With Vikings Amid Free Agency Moves

The Minnesota Vikings continue to reshape their defense, bringing in former No. 3 overall pick Jeff Okudah for a free-agent visit. Once seen as a lockdown cornerback prospect, Okudah’s career has been hindered by injuries and inconsistency since being drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2020.

After stints with the Falcons and Texans, Okudah is now looking for another opportunity, and the Vikings could offer him a chance to compete for a role in their secondary. With recent signings like Jonathan Allen, Javon Hargrave, and Isaiah Rodgers, Minnesota has been aggressive in strengthening its defense, and adding Okudah could provide much-needed depth at cornerback.
