Former Lions QB Joshua Dobbs Signs with Patriots on Two-Year Deal
The New England Patriots have signed quarterback Joshua Dobbs to a two-year contract, according to Mike McCartney. Dobbs, who spent time on the Detroit Lions’ practice squad in 2022, has since built a solid NFL career, appearing in 23 games with 15 starts.
The 30-year-old quarterback has completed 62.7% of his passes for 3,281 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions over five seasons. With Dobbs now in New England, speculation is growing that the Patriots could soon trade backup quarterback Joe Milton.
