New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has been hitting the gym hard this offseason, and the results are turning heads. The third-year receiver, known for his speed, has packed on some muscle while keeping his lean frame intact. Could this be the boost he needs to break out in 2025?
Hyatt’s Transformation Sparks Debate
Recent photos of Hyatt’s offseason gains have surfaced, and fans have mixed reactions. While some are hyped about his potential breakout, others aren’t convinced. One fan joked, “By weight room, I think you mean tattoo parlor,” pointing out his new ink. Others were even more skeptical, with one saying, “He sucks, there’s a reason he didn’t play last season.”
Can This Change Hyatt’s Career?
Hyatt’s 2024 season was disappointing, to say the least. Despite playing in 16 games, he only managed eight catches for 62 yards. Compare that to his rookie year, where he had more than double the targets (40) and put up 373 yards.
The Giants drafted Hyatt in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft after an explosive college career at Tennessee, where he put up 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2022. But so far in the NFL, he has yet to find his rhythm.
His best pro game came in 2023 against the Patriots, where he hauled in six catches for 109 yards. If this offseason grind pays off, fans hope he can bring that energy back in 2025.
Will Hyatt’s physical transformation translate to success on the field? Giants fans will have to wait and see when the season kicks off.
