Predicting the AFC North’s Starting QBs for 2025
Quarterback situations in the AFC North are looking pretty stable except for a couple of teams that still have some big decisions to make. With the 2025 NFL Draft lacking elite QB prospects, teams desperate for a passer may have to get creative. So, who’s lining up under center for each AFC North team this season? Let’s take a guess.
Baltimore Ravens – Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson not winning the MVP in 2024 still feels like a robbery. He had one of the best seasons of his career, and the Ravens continue to have a franchise QB locked in for the long run. But the real question isn’t about Jackson it’s whether Baltimore can finally get over the playoff hump and make a serious Super Bowl push.
Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow
Had the Bengals made the playoffs in 2024, Joe Burrow might have taken home MVP honors. He’s arguably the best pocket passer in the league and led Cincinnati to a strong 9-8 finish, closing the season with five straight wins. If the Bengals can patch up their defense, they’ll be a legit contender again in 2025.
Pittsburgh Steelers – Teddy Bridgewater
Not the most exciting pick, but with few solid options available, Pittsburgh might turn to veteran Teddy Bridgewater as a short-term solution. He’s not flashy, but he’s experienced, can manage games well, and has a solid 33-32 career record. The Steelers could draft a QB and let him develop while Bridgewater holds things down in the meantime.
Cleveland Browns Kirk Cousins
Kirk Cousins to Cleveland actually makes a ton of sense. He’d reunite with head coach Kevin Stefanski from their Vikings days, and the Falcons are probably eager to unload his contract. Cousins, now further removed from his Achilles injury, could give the Browns a stable veteran presence at QB while they figure out their long-term plan.
So, if things shake out this way, the AFC North’s QB lineup will be a mix of stability and short-term fixes. But in the NFL, nothing is ever set in stone.
