Oasis fans are in for a treat as Liam and Noel Gallagher each appear on special edition covers of The Big Issue this week, ahead of the band’s long-awaited reunion tour.
Starting Monday, two exclusive covers — one featuring Liam and the other Noel — will hit the streets. Inside, readers will find a comprehensive look back at Oasis’ iconic career, including interviews with photographers, promoters, and artists who helped shape the band’s image. The editions also include some of Liam and Noel’s best past interviews with The Big Issue.
Photographer Kevin Cummins, who shot both covers and captured many legendary Oasis moments, shared his memories of working with the famously fiery brothers. “They look like they like each other in those shots,” Cummins said with a laugh. “Of course they do, but spending too much time with your brother… I get it.”
A limited run of 10 collector’s copies signed by Cummins will be available through the Big Issue Shop, with proceeds supporting the publication’s mission to fight poverty in the UK.
Oasis’ “Live ’25” tour kicks off July 4 in Cardiff, followed by shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
Big Issue UK Editor Paul McNamee celebrated the covers, saying: “These editions honor a band that defined a generation. Our interviews offer incredible insight into the Oasis story. The Gallagher rivalry is legendary, but the music is what matters most.”
Music fans are encouraged to choose their favorite Gallagher — or grab both covers — as The Big Issue continues to shine a light on cultural icons.
