Giants’ head coach Brian Daboll won’t be attending Colorado’s pro day on Friday, where Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will be showcasing their skills. Although the event is crucial for the Giants as it relates to the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Daboll prefers private workouts, especially when it comes to quarterbacks. This is important given the Giants’ need for a long-term quarterback solution.
Daboll also skipped Miami’s pro day last week, which featured potential No. 1 pick Cam Ward. While Sanders has been a top candidate for the Giants at No. 3, there’s a possibility the team could go with Hunter instead, especially since the team won’t rush into selecting a QB unless they’re confident in the player’s future. It looks like the Giants will hold off on finalizing their decision until after additional workouts are done.
With Daboll not attending, it’ll be interesting to see which members of the Giants’ staff will be there to check out Sanders and Hunter.
