Giants’ Draft Plans Take Shape in NFL.com’s New 4-Round Mock

With the 2025 NFL Draft just a month away, things are heating up. Mock drafts are flying around, and NFL.com’s Chad Reuter just dropped a new four-round projection.

In his latest predictions, Reuter has the New York Giants picking Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders at No. 3 overall. Sanders, son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, has been making waves with his impressive passing accuracy and leadership skills.

Why Sanders?

Reuter explains that while Sanders may not be the biggest or fastest QB, he excels at reading defenses and making smart throws under pressure. Plus, the Giants have been in desperate need of a true leader at quarterback.

Sanders started his college career at Jackson State, playing under his father, before transferring to Colorado. Last season, he completed 74% of his passes for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, earning Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year honors.

Giants’ Other Picks in Reuter’s Mock Draft:

Round 2, No. 34: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon – A 6’4″, 313-pound force who had a breakout season in 2024.

Round 3, No. 65: Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue – Versatile lineman who allowed only four sacks in 1,078 pass-blocking snaps.

Round 3, No. 99: Kyle Kennard, Edge, South Carolina – Explosive pass rusher with 11.5 sacks last season.

Round 4, No. 105: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford – A dynamic receiver with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.

As the draft approaches, expect more shakeups in the rankings, but for now, it looks like the Giants could be setting up their future with a new franchise quarterback.
