Giants Player’s Struggle Is DEAD — Get Ready for a FULL-ON TAKEOVER!

The New York Giants had a rough 2024, finishing with a sad 3-14 record and dead last in the NFC East. But hey, that’s history now. Brian Daboll and the crew are grinding hard to build a way better squad for 2025.

2024 was full of letdowns for the Giants, but one player who didn’t quite hit the numbers everyone hoped for is expected to bounce back big time next season.

Meet Tyrone Tracy Jr., the Giants’ fifth-round pick from the 2024 draft (166th overall). He played running back at Purdue after starting out as a wide receiver at Iowa.

Trevor Sikkema from PFF put together a list of the NFL’s top running backs, and Tracy landed at No. 30. Yeah, his rookie season wasn’t flawless — he racked up 839 rushing yards with a decent 69.6 rushing grade, but his receiving game (with a 40.9 grade) was kinda meh. The good news? Sikkema thinks he’s gonna level up in 2025.

For reference, the top RB on the list is Derrick Henry, now rocking for the Ravens, with Saquon Barkley from the Eagles coming in at No. 2. Sikkema hyped Henry big time, saying even at 31 he’s crushing it with a killer rushing grade and loads of big plays.

Switching gears to wide receivers, ESPN’s Aaron Schatz called out Giants’ Darius Slayton as the NFL’s most underrated WR. Slayton’s been flying under the radar since being picked in the fifth round back in 2019 but showed promise right away with eight touchdowns in his rookie year. While he hasn’t hit those numbers since, last season Slayton caught 39 passes for 573 yards, which was good enough for the Giants to lock him down with a fresh three-year, \$36 million deal.

So yeah, while 2024 wasn’t great overall, some Giants players are gearing up to surprise us all in 2025.
