Graham Glasgow Reveals Painful Injury That Hampered Him in Lions’ Playoff Exit

Graham Glasgow Details Painful Shoulder Injury From Lions’ Playoff Loss

Detroit Lions veteran offensive lineman Graham Glasgow has opened up about an injury he sustained during the team’s 2024 playoff loss to the Washington Commanders—a torn labrum in his shoulder.

Glasgow suffered the injury during the game but chose to gut it out and remain on the field, doing everything he could to protect quarterback Jared Goff and keep Detroit’s offense moving. Despite being in significant pain, Glasgow continued to anchor the interior of the line, showing the toughness and leadership that’s made him a respected voice in the locker room.

After the season, Glasgow underwent surgery to repair the torn labrum and has since been on the road to recovery. Now back at training camp, he’s fully cleared and preparing for the upcoming season with a clean bill of health.

The veteran guard, who returned to Detroit last year after a stint with the Denver Broncos, was a key part of the Lions’ offensive resurgence. His willingness to play through injury only reinforced his value to the team, especially as they gear up for what could be another deep playoff run in 2025.
