Terrion Arnold Honors Late Friend with Jersey Number Change
Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is switching things up this season he’s changing his jersey number to 6. But it’s not just a random choice. Arnold is doing it to honor his late friend and former Alabama teammate, Khyree Jackson, who tragically died in a car crash in Maryland last July.
Arnold wore No. 0 during his rookie year, but that number’s now taken by running back Jahmyr Gibbs. So, Arnold decided to go with 6 the number Jackson wore during their time together at Alabama. It’s a small but meaningful way to keep his friend’s memory alive.
