Home Field Advantage? See If Alabama’s Hosting the Regionals!

**Alabama Baseball Has Killer Season, But No Hosting Spot for NCAA Tourney**

Alabama baseball just wrapped up one of its best regular seasons in years—40 wins (their most since 2002), undefeated in midweek games, and not a single SEC sweep. Pretty impressive, right? But somehow, it still wasn’t enough to earn a top-16 seed or the chance to host a regional in the NCAA Tournament.

The SEC dominated the hosting game this year, snagging 8 of the 16 spots. The ACC and Big Ten followed with three each, and the Sun Belt grabbed two.

So where’s Bama heading? That’s still up in the air. Some experts have them playing in Hattiesburg at Southern Miss, while others think they’ll end up in Tallahassee with Florida State.

The official bracket drops Monday, May 26 at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2—so hang tight, Bama fans.
