Injured Ex-Wolverine Defender Could Make Stunning Super Bowl Return

Brandon Graham’s Super Bowl Comeback? Eagles Open Practice Window for Veteran DE

Brandon Graham’s 15th NFL season might not be over just yet. The Philadelphia Eagles have officially opened the practice window for the veteran defensive end, creating the possibility that he could suit up for Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Graham, 36, suffered a torn triceps in Week 12 and was initially believed to be out for the season. However, his recovery has progressed well, and he hasn’t ruled out a return. During a recent radio interview, Graham said he’s taking things “one day at a time” and focusing on building strength without risking further injury.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has taken a cautious approach, stating that the team will monitor Graham’s progress over the next two weeks before making a final decision. If cleared, his presence could be a major boost to Philadelphia’s defense. Despite a reduced role in recent seasons, Graham remains an effective pass rusher and a key veteran leader.

His potential return also brings back memories of his game-changing strip sack on Tom Brady in Super Bowl LII, a play that helped secure the Eagles’ first championship. Now, he has a chance to make another impact on football’s biggest stage—if his body allows it.
