Looks like the Dolphins are digging into some tight end prospects ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. They’re picking 13th overall, which probably puts Penn State star Tyler Warren out of reach—but they’ve still been busy checking out other solid options who could be around in Round 2.
LSU’s Mason Taylor was at the Dolphins’ facility recently. Fun fact: he’s the son of Dolphins Hall of Famer Jason Taylor. Mason’s expected to go somewhere late in the first or early second round. He’s already met with the Browns, Seahawks, and Chargers, too.
Earlier this week, Miami also hosted local standout Elijah Arroyo from the University of Miami. Arroyo made waves this year and turned heads at the Senior Bowl. After visiting the Dolphins, he made stops with the Browns and Giants as well. According to CBS’s Mike Cugno, Arroyo and his teammate Xavier Restrepo have been hanging around the Dolphins’ facility quite a bit lately.
Now, while the Dolphins have Jonnu Smith in the mix (he played a solid role last year alongside Tyreek Hill), his contract wraps after this season. That means Taylor or Arroyo could be in line as the next man up—or at least a good backup with future starter potential.

Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson has been busy, too. After visiting the Steelers last weekend, he’s also stopped by the Titans, Broncos, Texans, and Bengals. He’s seen as the third-best RB prospect in the class, behind Ashton Jeanty (Boise State) and Omarion Hampton (UNC). With that much interest, he could go anywhere from early second to early third round.
Defensive tackle Derrick Harmon from Oregon visited the Jets this week. While he’s not really being projected for their 7th overall pick, he might be a solid target in the late first or early second round—especially if the Jets decide to trade back. Harmon also visited the Browns and Steelers.
