The Detroit Lions have locked in one of their top draft picks, officially signing second-round selection Tate Ratledge to his rookie contract.
Ratledge, an offensive lineman out of Georgia, was taken with the 61st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Known for his physical style of play and SEC-tested toughness, he’s expected to make an immediate impact by adding strength and versatility to Detroit’s offensive front.
With the paperwork finalized, Ratledge will now report to training camp with the rest of the team and begin competing for a role in the rotation. His signing marks another key step in the Lions’ efforts to build a durable and dominant offensive line for the seasons ahead.
