Jameson Williams emphasized the importance of refining his approach within the Lions’ offensive system, noting that raw talent alone is no longer enough.
“Growing up in Little League, high school, and even some college programs, they just let you play football,” Williams reflected. “But it’s the details that separate teams at this level. They’re what make the difference in close games.”
He highlighted how focusing on specifics—like being in sync with the quarterback, aligning properly, and executing key blocks—can ultimately lead to victories. “Being precise, being in the right spot at the right time for your quarterback, and making the right plays all matter in the NFL,” he added.
“Back in the day, you could rely on skill and instinct,” Williams admitted. “But as you grow in this game, you realize just how much those small details truly count.”
