Jameson Williams didn’t hold back when asked who has the best wide receiver group in the NFC North — and he made sure the Minnesota Vikings heard it loud and clear.
During an appearance at the CSA Autograph Show, Williams and Vikings receiver Jordan Addison were asked which team had the better receiving corps. Williams jumped in with a bold response: “WEEE DOOOO, WE DOOO,” leaving Addison with little more than a half-hearted “Come on man, stop playing.”
And let’s be real — the numbers back Jamo’s confidence. The Lions’ trio of Williams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Tim Patrick combined for over 2,650 yards and 22 touchdowns last season. Detroit’s offense put up a whopping 564 total points, compared to Minnesota’s 432. While the Vikings boast superstar Justin Jefferson, it’s hard to argue against Detroit’s balance and depth.
Whether you call it friendly banter or offseason bulletin-board material, it’s clear the rivalry is alive and well. And if the Lions’ pass catchers perform like they did in 2024, Williams might just have the last laugh.
