Jayden Daniels Trolls Lions Player with Savage Message During Jersey Swap

Jayden Daniels Trolls Lions’ Terrion Arnold with Savage Jersey Message

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels turned a jersey swap with Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold into a memorable—and savage—moment after leading his team to a 45-31 victory over the Lions in the NFC Divisional Round.

After the game, Daniels swapped jerseys with Arnold, but what made this moment even more notable was the message Daniels allegedly wrote on the jersey. According to former UCF player and YouTuber Deestroying, Daniels wrote, “Cancun on 3! 1, 2, 3” at the bottom of the jersey. The phrase, a nod to an infamous comment made by NBA legend Nick Van Exel during the 1998 playoffs, humorously referenced the idea that the Lions’ season was effectively over, much like a team heading on vacation.

Daniels, who had a stellar performance in the game with 299 yards and two touchdowns, likely meant the message in good fun, as he and Arnold share a close bond. The two were first-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, and Daniels’ playful trolling was a lighthearted jab between friends.
