Joe Rogan has some strong words for Trump’s deportation policies, especially the possibility of innocent people being wrongfully caught up. On a recent episode of *The Joe Rogan Experience*, he expressed shock over how non-criminals could get swept into mass deportations. He called it “horrific,” pointing out how innocent people like Andry José Hernández Romero, a gay Venezuelan man, were being treated unfairly.
Hernández Romero had fled Venezuela due to persecution for his sexuality and political views, finding asylum in the U.S. But last month, Trump invoked a rare wartime law to deport him, wrongly linking him to a gang based on his tattoos, something he denies. Rogan was clearly upset, saying, “That’s bad for the cause,” referring to the effort to deport actual criminals and gang members, but not innocent people like Romero.
Rogan, a known supporter of Trump, also criticized the administration’s tendency to never admit fault, implying they might have been made aware of their mistake but aren’t doing enough to fix it.
