Josh Allen Just Made an Announcement That Could Ruin Mahomes and Hurts’ Day

Josh Allen Just Reminded the NFL Who the Real MVP Is (and It’s Not Mahomes or Hurts)

The Buffalo Bills have every reason to be hyped heading into the 2025 season — and the biggest one is their QB1, Josh Allen. He’s newly married, fresh off an MVP season, and back to lead the charge. He hasn’t made it to the Super Bowl yet, but don’t let that fool you — the guy is putting up numbers that blow past some of the league’s biggest names.

And now, Allen’s getting recognized for something that even recent Super Bowl champs can’t touch.

Josh Allen Is Straight-Up Dominating in Touchdowns

The NFL’s in a bit of a chill zone right now — training camps are still a few weeks away — so it’s a great time to look back at some stats. And when you check out the numbers, Josh Allen’s name is sitting way at the top.

In 2024 alone, Allen threw for 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns, plus ran for another 531 yards and 12 touchdowns. That’s 40 total scores. Let that sink in.

But here’s the real jaw-dropper: Over the last three seasons, Allen has stacked up 126 total touchdowns. That puts him 21 touchdowns ahead of Jalen Hurts. And get this — he also beat out Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow, who are tied for third. Basically, Josh Allen has been on a touchdown tear, and the NFL can’t look away.

Built in Buffalo even posted the stats with the caption: “Josh Allen is simply a touchdown machine.” Couldn’t have said it better.

Fans didn’t hold back either. One commented, “Just proves our defense was/is the problem,” while another pointed out that Lamar Jackson didn’t even make the cut.

Bills Camp Is Almost Here — And Things Are About to Get Real

Buffalo’s training camp kicks off July 23 in Rochester, NY, and it’ll include 11 full practices. Mark your calendar for August 1 too — that’s when the Blue & Red scrimmage hits Highmark Stadium.

One more twist to the 2025 season? This’ll be Josh Allen’s first full year working under new offensive coordinator Joe Brady. And according to Brady, don’t expect a copy-paste of last year’s playbook.

“You don’t get to pick off where you left off,” Brady told reporters. “We’re starting over. Day one is the basics. Even guys like Josh, who’ve done it all, need to humble themselves and master every little detail.”

Brady says Allen’s hungry for more — even after an MVP season. “Every year’s a new year,” he said. And if Josh keeps playing like this? It could be a very big one.
