Joy Behar Left Speechless Over Alyssa Farah Griffin’s White House War Discussions

Joy Behar was caught off guard on The View when she found out her cohost, Alyssa Farah Griffin, had been involved in military planning during her time in the Trump administration.

The revelation came during a discussion about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reportedly sharing military strike plans in a Signal group chat that included a journalist. The hosts were criticizing the situation when Griffin casually mentioned that, during her time at the Pentagon, she had helped with planning airstrikes.

Behar, visibly shocked, interrupted: “You were?”  Griffin confirmed it with a smile, and cohost Sara Haines pointed out that Behar is  always  surprised by Griffin’s political background.

Griffin went on to explain how military operations are typically handled, with discussions taking place in classified, secure locations without personal devices. She emphasized that sensitive information should never be shared in a casual group chat.

Meanwhile, Hegseth denied the allegations, telling reporters that no actual war plans were being texted.

The moment on  The View  added another layer to the ongoing controversy, and Behar’s reaction made it clear that even her own cohost’s past still surprises her.
