Julio Jones, one of the NFL’s all-time greats, officially retired after more than a decade of playing. The former Alabama standout made a huge impact as a wide receiver, especially with the Atlanta Falcons. He also spent time with the Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Philadelphia Eagles before stepping away. Over his career, Julio racked up seven Pro Bowls, 13,703 yards, and 66 touchdowns. He made his mark at Alabama, leading the team in receiving during the 2009 national championship and earning recognition as a future NFL star.

The Falcons honored him with a tribute video celebrating his incredible career. Fellow players, like A.J. Brown, also praised Jones for his achievements, and fans reminisced about some of his unforgettable plays. Jones was known for being the fastest to hit major yardage milestones, including 10,000 and 13,000 yards, and some of his catches will go down in history.

The NFL world, and especially his former teammates, are full of respect and admiration for what he did on and off the field. It’s a bittersweet goodbye to a legend who changed the game.
