Kentucky’s basketball team is on fire this season. After a 95-90 road win against Mississippi State, they’re showing real toughness. This marks their fourth win over a top-15 team, with four victories over teams in the top 12 of the NET rankings—no other team has more than two.
This team is all about bouncing back. After a tough loss to Georgia, they went on the road and knocked off a strong Mississippi State squad. Earlier, they bounced back from a loss to Clemson with a big win against Gonzaga in their home state of Washington, and they won two straight at home after a 20-point loss to Ohio State. This latest win shows how resilient they are and highlights the culture coach Mark Pope is building in Lexington.
Kentucky’s now 13-3 overall and 2-1 in SEC play. Next week is huge with games against No. 10 Texas A&M and No. 5 Alabama at home. It’s an exciting time for the Wildcats!
