Liberty’s Coach Ritchie McKay and Players Gear Up for Oregon in the NCAA Tournament
Liberty, a No. 12 seed, is set to face No. 5 seed Oregon in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday at 7:10 p.m. PT (airing on truTV).
Before the game, Liberty coach Ritchie McKay, along with guards Jayvon Maughmer and Taelon Peter, and forward Zach Cleveland, shared their thoughts at a press conference.
Coach Ritchie McKay:
“This is amazing. Just look at the ‘March Madness’ sign behind me. It’s why we do what we do, why we dream about moments like this. Getting the chance to play in the NCAA Tournament is such a privilege, and I know our guys feel the same way. We’re just really honored to be here.”
