The Detroit Lions made several roster adjustments Thursday as they gear up for Monday night’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to the team’s official announcement, Detroit added safety Jammie Robinson from the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad to the active roster. Robinson, a 2023 fifth-round pick from Florida State, previously spent time with the Carolina Panthers before joining the Chiefs’ practice unit. His arrival strengthens the Lions’ secondary while Brian Branch serves his suspension and Kerby Joseph continues to recover from a knee injury.

Meanwhile, defensive lineman Keith Cooper was released from the practice squad, and safety Loren Strickland was re-signed to provide additional depth. Strickland had been waived earlier this week but returns as a familiar option in Detroit’s rotation.

These moves come as the Lions look to stabilize their defensive backfield following a penalty-filled loss to the Chiefs. Detroit’s front office continues to stay active, keeping the roster flexible and ready as the team pushes deeper into the season. Fans will be watching closely to see how these changes impact the Monday Night Football showdown at Ford Field.
