The Bengals’ secondary, already stocked with young talent like Dax Hill, DJ Turner II, and Jordan Battle, could benefit from a player like Robertson. He’s not just another body in the locker room—he’s coming off a career-best season in 2024, allowing just 7.2 yards per target while playing both inside and outside coverage.
That kind of versatility and consistency could be huge for a Bengals defense that’s transitioning under Al Golden, their new defensive coordinator. And with explosive AFC offenses to face weekly, any help in limiting big plays is welcome.
A Deal That Makes Sense?
Robertson’s name popping up isn’t just speculation for fun—it’s part of a broader offseason pulse. While other big-name Bengals like Trey Hendrickson (in a contract standoff) and Germaine Pratt (who requested a trade earlier this year) are also being linked to moves, it’s Cincinnati that might be in line to do the acquiring in this case.
